What is APOA
Asian Palm Oil Alliance (APOA) is not-for-profit alliance of palm oil consuming countries of Asia for sustainable palm oil. APOA provides a common platform for key Asian government, industry associations and businesses operating in the policy development, trade, import and end-use application of Palm Oil. It would strengthen Asia’s role in palm oil sustainability disclosure.

Objectives
Facilitate for improved trade in sustainable palm oil in Asia and develop cooperation amongst its members to secure an efficient, economic and regular supply of sustainable palm oil adhering to national sustainability standards, national laws and UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Make policy recommendations to safeguard the economic and business interests of the palm-oil consuming countries and create a level playing field for all fats and oils used in food, feed and oleochemicals in Asia
Support the increase in consumption of sustainable palm oil in Asia while challenging negative campaigns
Collate, collect and disseminate statistical data, research and other information on sustainable palm oil production and consumption in Asia
